For over 12 years Emily’s Events has lived by one main core value, “Take care of our guests.”

Our hearts and prayers go out to those who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate all the people who are on the front line, the healthcare workers, the government and the community workers, working to contain this Coronavirus and get us up-to-date information.

Like many of you, our team at Emily’s Events has been closely following the developments around COVID-19, also known as coronavirus.

We are dedicated to doing our best to provide a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff. While efforts to contain COVID-19 continue to evolve, Emily’s Events has taken proactive and voluntary steps to prevent the spread of the disease in our kitchen, offices, and community.

While the risks and long-term impacts of COVID-19 are hard to quantify and change day-to-day, we are taking the appropriate steps and continue to actively monitor the impact the virus may have on the communities we serve.

WHAT WE ARE DOING:

 

It Starts with Our Staff

Our staff has been told, the minute that they feel a sneaking suspicion that they’re not doing well, they may stay home with full pay. They continue to follow all mandatory guidelines set out by the Health Department and the additional steps Emily’s Events has implemented to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

 

Cleaning, Cleaning, and more Cleaning:

We had many cases of medical grade disinfectant cleaner delivered to our kitchen and laid out an entire new protocol for my staff to follow. Cleaning more often, more diligently, more carefully. 


I feel, especially with food preparation, you can never be too careful. Our staff is fully versed on everything regarding sanitation and cleanliness. As a food service environment, we already follow strict guidelines from the County Health Department. These are rules that were followed before this outbreak and continue to follow as we surf these trying times. We still implemented additional layers of sanitation, inspection, and protection.

OUR GUESTS:

You can rest assured that with Emily’s Events you are being looked after and taken care of.
With that in mind, We know it is a difficult time and more and more people are not wanting to leave their homes and go out in public. But, we still need to eat. We want you to know that we are here for you. If you would like the occasional meal delivered to your home give us a call. We would be happy to discuss these options with you. We are already feeding our family, why not let us feed yours?
